Who is eligible for student football tickets?

The following individuals are eligible for student football tickets:

  1. Currently enrolled UT, Knoxville students who have paid the full University Programs and Services Fee (Activity Fee).
  2. Currently enrolled UTSI students.
  3. Currently enrolled UT Pharmacy students who have paid the full UT, Knoxville University Programs and Services Fee (Activity Fee).
  4. Currently enrolled UT Audiology and Speech Pathology students who have paid the full UT, Knoxville University Programs and Services Fee (Activity Fee).
  5. Currently enrolled UT School of Medicine students who have paid the full UT, Knoxville University Programs and Services Fee (Activity Fee).
  6. Spouses, of any the aforementioned students, who have purchased a Spouse Card for the appropriate semester.

What do student football tickets cost?

Student football tickets cost either $10.00 or $20.00 depending on the game. You may check at http://bigorangetix.utk.edu/football/about.html#cost for a full list of games and prices.

Will there be season tickets this year?

Student season tickets will not be available this year. In order to provide the greatest number of students the opportunity to purchase tickets, tickets will be sold on a game by game basis only.

What is a Loyalty Point?

A loyalty point is an incentive for students to attend athletic events. The points will be used to help determine ticket availability and seat assignment. The more loyalty points a student has, the better chance they have of obtaining a ticket and getting a seat closer to the field. The primary method for obtaining points is through attendance at specified athletic events.

Do students have to enter the stadium through certain gates?

Yes, students must enter the stadium through either gate 4 or 23.

If I purchase a ticket and cannot go to the game, may I give my ticket to a fellow student?

No, Student tickets are non-transferable. Students may only enter the stadium using the ticket with their name printed on it.

Can I sit with my friends?

Yes, there is a process that allows you to form groups so that you can sit with friends. A group is identified as 2 or more people. The maximum group size is 12 people. Groups must be formed during the Request Period. Instructions on how to form a group are located at http://bigorangetix.utk.edu/football/about.html#seating-assignment-location .
